For more than 100 years, Chevrolet has been building practical, affordable transportation with choices to match just about every budget. Today, the lineup of new 2025 Chevy vehicles has begun to arrive at our dealership and we want to give you a taste of the changes that are in store for you in our new Chevy cars, trucks and SUVs. We won't attempt an exhaustive survey but here are some of the most popular new 2025 Chevy vehicles we're offering at Hixson Chevrolet in DeRidder, LA
The Silverado 1500 is one of the two most popular vehicles of any kind in America. The Chevy Silverado has been performing so capably that it needed only modest adjustments for the 2025 model year. For example, the entry-level Work Truck offers Leesville and Fort Polk South, LA truck drivers a new Universal Vehicle Module that can be used by public safety agencies. The 2025 lineup includes the Work Truck, Custom, LT, RST, Custom Trail Boss, LTZ, LT Trail Boss and High Country trims. The Silverado 1500 will continue to offer an available maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds and available upgrades like genuine leather upholstery.
After a mid-cycle update, the heavy-duty 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD continues to offer an enormous maximum towing capacity of 36,000 pounds along with some new features. Front and rear parking sensors are now standard on select trims and adaptive cruise control is standard on the top-tier High Country model. A special off-road Trail Boss package is available with the LT and LTZ trim levels, giving you Z71 shocks and suspension, red recovery hooks and 20-inch wheels wrapped in beefy BF Goodrich KO3 tires.
For 2025, the Chevy Equinox receives an updated exterior design with fender flares, all-LED lighting and squared-off wheel wells. The 2025 model is 2.3 inches wider than the previous model and the Equinox gets a new 11.3-inch infotainment screen along with a large digital gauge cluster. The gearshift is now conveniently located on the steering column and the RS and Activ models get a drive mode selector mode that lets you choose Normal, Snow and Off-Road modes.
The Chevy Malibu is a handsome compact sedan that continues to deliver a comfortable and spacious interior as well as outstanding fuel economy. Because 2025 marks the final production year for the Malibu, it continues mostly unchanged for this year. A new Night Shade Metallic exterior paint is now available and the Malibu will continue with significant changes introduced in 2024 including standard rear parking sensor.
The Chevy Trailblazer is the only subcompact Chevy SUV that’s equipped with all-wheel drive. For 2025, the base powertrain is now compatible with E85 fuel and the Trailblazer offers Sulphur and Lake Charles, LA buyers a new Marina Blue Metallic exterior paint. Beyond that, the Trailblazer remains essentially unchanged.
The Chevy Trax is an even smaller subcompact SUV than the Trailblazer and it's the most affordable vehicle Chevrolet makes. In 2024, Chevrolet reintroduced the Trax with a bigger, bolder design and contemporary features that defy its very low starting price. After the comprehensive changes made in 2024, the Trax gets modest updates including new Marina Blue Metallic and Cypress Gray exterior paint colors.
There are other changes across the Chevy lineup for 2025 that will enhance vehicles like the Blazer SUV, the mid-size Colorado pickup and the dynamic Corvette Stingray, the quintessential American sports car. We can advise you on when other 2025 models will arrive at our dealership. In the meantime, we have new 2025 Chevy cars, trucks and SUVs available for a test drive right now at Hixson Chevrolet in DeRidder, LA.
